I wanted to sell my books. I wanted to publish zines. I wanted to learn NextJS. I wanted a passive income stream. I *despised* the obtrusive and terrible UX for most eCommerce websites. I also despised the modern ISBN ecosystem and how it's required to own an ISBN and to gate books to a particular platform via an ISBN number- and how the ISBN authority masquerades as the standard for book identification, when in reality it becomes another tax upon book authors.
Thesis: Write works and publish them on a blog for digital consumption
Antithesis: Write works and submit them to a magazine for physical publication
Synthesis: Write works and publish both digitally and in physical form, as both creator and publisher.
